I don’t remember a time when I didn’t love reading. I have vivid memories of finishing Goosebumps books and then tediously explaining every detail to my parents and brother. I love everything about books; reading, browsing, buying, borrowing, collecting, smelling…I carry at least 2 books on me at all times.
Reading brings us new ideas and knowledge, expanding what it means to be creative and develop original ideas. Story telling is essential.
Plus it’s good for your brain and feels GREAT when you close a book after the very last chapter.

My background was originally in Art History and I love it because it feels like an endless portal of things to learn. I like to know things and Art History has it all. With it you can learn a little about everything; art, history, science, politics, philosophy, anthropology, engineering… anything…it’s a big wide world. And it’s all in a library!
