Printing in the Library: Overview

This guide will help you understand printing policies in the Library.

Printing

Currently, all printing and copying in our libraries is free to all currently enrolled Waubonsee students, faculty and staff with valid X-numbers.

At this time, computers in the library at Sugar Grove and Fox Valley campuses are assigned. Please check in at the Circulation Desk. Computers at the Downtown campus are first come, first serve. To use campus networked computers in the Library you need to sign in with your X-number and password. This will also allow for printing. Please abide by campus Information Technology Acceptable Usage Agreement.  Printers in the computing area will print in black and white or color with a variety of options including legal size paper and printing on both sides of the paper. Please be respectful of how much you copy.  Our trees appreciate it!  All copies are currently being routed to the Circulation Desk for pick up.

Printing Options

  • You may use a library computer and send your print jobs to our library printers for printing/pick up.
  • You may use Paper Cut on your laptop and send your print jobs to our library printers for printing/pick up.
  • You may use the Print For Me service and request your print jobs from the campus library of your choice. The staff will notify you when completed and you may pick up at the campus you requested.

Color printing:
To print in color at the Todd Library, select COLOR-COL-218-HP-M651DN-1 as your printer.  Also go to Printer Properties on the print screen, use the Color tab, and de-select grayscale. All print jobs need to be picked up at the Circulation Desk.

To print in color at the Aurora Fox Valley Library, select FOX 225. Printers are located next to the circulation desk. You can pick up your own print jobs.

To print in color at the Aurora Downtown Campus Library, select COLOR-DWNTN-185-HP-M680Z-1. Printers are located next to the circulation desk. You can pick up your own print jobs.

Please ask if you need assistance!

Print For Me

Please use the form below to submit your print requests from off-campus.   Library staff will print your document for you, and notify you when it is ready to be picked up. The form can be found here or on our library webpage, under services.

Please plan ahead to allow as much time as possible for your print request to be fulfilled.
