Many resources and services are available to you and your students from off-campus. This guide shows how you can access online library resources and how to get help when you need it. We will be updating this page frequently when we are able to offer information about additional services and options for contacting the library.
Waubonsee faculty and their students have off-campus access to the Library's online databases which can be used to search and view articles and e-books. Log in to mywcc with your Waubonsee X-number and password, then access the Llbrary’s online resources from the Library tab on mywcc.
Students not only have access to these online resources, but remote help from librarians.
If you need assistance with logging in to mywcc, consult the resources on the Technology Resources and Help guide. If you still need help, contact the Technical Assistance Center at tac@waubonsee.edu. Be sure to include your X-number and a callback phone number and/or email.
During the time that the campus is closed, the Library will be available to assist in the following ways:
All checked out material will automatically be extended.
Interlibrary Loan is currently operating for electronic delivery of articles only. Order articles from the library request form https://www.waubonsee.edu/student-experience/library/services/interlibrary-loan or directly from the database. Physical items (books, dvds) currently checked out will have their due dates extended (do not return at this time). Questions? please email Kvance@waubonsee.edu
Many providers are opening up their sources to everyone during the Pandemic. Some we are adding to our database list while they are available. Others you may navigate to their web address for free access.
Contact us using Live Chat. It operates during the hours that the library is open for online service. Or email us your questions.
