Course Reserve Materials- Importance & Purpose

Student Responsibility

Course materials are available for students to borrow in person, with checkout times determined by the instructor or the library. These set borrowing periods ensure that all students have equal access to the course materials. Visit any circulation desk at the libraries to request to borrow a course material.

Students must comply with the specified loan period. Failure to return materials on time may result in fines.

Students are expected to handle course materials with care. Lost or damaged items must be reported to library staff, and students may be responsible for replacement costs.

The goal of offering a Course Reserve collection is to ensure that all students have equitable access to essential course materials, regardless of financial limitations or availability. By providing textbooks, readings, and other academic resources for short-term borrowing, the library aims to support student success and foster an inclusive learning environment. This collection helps eliminate barriers to accessing required materials, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to engage fully in their coursework and achieve academic excellence.
