Latinx Heritage Month 2021: Community Resources

The Transforming and Impacting Undergraduate Men Pursuing Higher Education (TRIUMPH) is a student focused action program addressing challenges that males students of color face as they navigate college academically and socially.

The Aurora Hispanic Heritage Advisory Board created a scholarship fund within the Community Foundation to assist college bound students of Hispanic American descent who reside in Aurora.

This scholarship is open to all undocumented and DACA students attending Waubonsee Community College. It is a $500 refundable credit award. This scholarship will be administered through the Foundation scholarship application process.

The Alliance of Hispanic Serving Institution Educators will be awards several scholarships for students.Information about 2022 scholarships will be available on the website.

The Retention of Illinois Students & Equity (RISE) Act allows eligible undocumented students and transgender students who are disqualified from federal financial aid to apply for all forms of state financial aid.
