African American History Month: 2020 Theme - African Americans and the Vote

Library Resources for the Celebration of National African American History Month

In 1926, African American History month began as Negro History Week, founded by Dr. Carter G. Woodson, of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History.  Each year the ASALH chooses a theme to highlight. The theme for the  2020 celebration is African Americans and the Vote.
