This guide will help you understand printing policies in the Library.

About

  • All printing and copying in our libraries is free to all currently enrolled Waubonsee students, faculty, and staff with valid X-numbers.
  • To use campus networked computers in the Library you need to sign in with your X-number and password.
  • Please abide by campus Information Technology Acceptable Usage Agreement

Printing Options

  • You can either print from a library computer OR upload your print jobs to PaperCut from your own devices.
    • Please note that there is no option to print directly from your device to campus printers at this time.
  • You may use the Print For Me service and request your print jobs from the campus library of your choice. The staff will notify you when completed and you may pick up at the campus you requested.

Color printing:  

  • Todd Library:

    • Printer name: COLOR-COL-223-HP-M651DN-1

    • Printers are located behind the glass/behind the Student Technology Assistant desk.

  • Aurora Downtown Library:

    • Printer name:  COLOR-DWNTN-185-HP-M680Z-1

    • Printers are located next to the circulation desk. You can pick up your own print jobs.

  • Aurora Fox Valley Library:

    • Printer name: FOX-225-HP-E65160-1 OR FOX-225-HP-E67660-1

    • Printers are located next to the circulation desk. You can pick up your own print jobs.

Print For Me

Please use the form below to submit your print requests from off-campus.   Library staff will print your document for you, and notify you when it is ready to be picked up. The form can be found here or on our library webpage, under services.

Please plan ahead to allow as much time as possible for your print request to be fulfilled.

Printing from laptops, tablets, and phones

Printing from your personal laptops is available in the library, using the Papercut Print Management system. Documents must be uploaded to Papercut and then printed.  There is no direct printing from devices to campus printers.

  1. Visit https://papercut.waubonsee.edu/ and login if needed with your X-number and password.
  2. Click "Web Print" from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
  3. Click "Submit a Job".
  4. Select a printer (Sugar Grove Campus Library, Aurora Downtown Campus Library, or Aurora Fox Valley Library).
  5. Select "Print Options and Account Selection."
  6. Specify how many copies you need and click "Upload Document."
  7. Click "Browse" to find the file you want to print.
  8. Click "Upload and Complete."
  9. Monitor your printing progress, and once the status says "Finished: Queued for printing" you are ready to pick up your print job.
